How long do you have to wait in lines before you can enter a Parisian tourist site like the Louvre and Eiffel tower?
Which days of the week are least busy and which times?
Also for the Chateau de Versailles. What is the best day and time for tours?

The Eiffel Tower, A Must-See Stop in Paris

Paris' Eiffel Tower

Paris' Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most well known monuments in the entire city of Paris.  Without a doubt, that elegant structure makes a statement for all that see it.  Built in 1889 for the World Fair that took place in Paris.  The iron structure was created to mark the 100th  year anniversary of the end of the French Revolution.

When deciding to visit this musts-see stop on your Paris tour you need to time your arrival carefully.  Remember, you will be only one of 6 million people that will come for a visit to this well-known site.  You can obtain tickets from the ticket booths at the base of the Eiffel Tower or online.  There are some packages that you can get online that will allow you to purchase a ticket from them.   You might also check with your hotel concierge and see if they are able to assist in this.  For more specifics and information, you can visit the Official Eiffel Tower website online.

Besides viewing the Eiffel Tower when on your Paris vacation, you also can take a ride in their elevators to the top of the structure for a bird’s eye view of Paris.  With breathtaking views, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.  You can take the elevator all the way down or walk 340 stairs to the 2nd level platform.  I’d say the stairs are the best choice since you can feel guiltless enjoying a stop at a crepe stand afterwards with all of that exercise.

Top Tip:  If you don’t like standing in incredibly long lines, I recommend that you try early in the morning or after 6pm.  You are likely to have less of a wait then.  Also, it’s wonderful to visit the site in the evening when it’s all lit up.  They started that for the new millennium and it’s a wonderful experience in the still of the Paris night.

A Dining Adventure In Paris

moulin-rouge-588x300Paris encourages its tourists to paint the town red, so when you’re traveling to Paris you’ll definitely fancy a night out. Knowing where to go for the most delectable dinners and finest wines will ensure a fantastic Paris night out.

Many tourists get interested in cancan dancing, and the popular Moulin Rouge is a well-known tourist attraction. For a century of widely renowned cancan dancing, a multitude of women stomp to the rhythm of the music and bring the dancing hall to life. Taste dishes from a superb menu and sip wine from a premium collection of Paris wines. Relieve stress and relax while marveling at the glorious red wines, copious from their wine cellars. You may be amazed at how long you’ve been there—the dancing cancan women is a spectacle beyond the astonishing meal you’ll have in the Moulin Rouge.

If women dancing to music are not to your liking, sit down and enjoy a fine dining experience atop the Eiffel Tower. The long queue of diners paves the way for Altitude 95 on the first level of the Eiffel Tower.

Dining here is a wondrous experience, with the extremely magnificent view of the city through the skylight windows. Although the beauty of Paris is stunning from this view, it is not entirely romantic considering there are all these other tourists who are on queue waiting for their tables and who may be seated next to you.

There are no regular menus, which gives it a charm of its own as you get to enjoy a unique dining experience with the menu being served only for the given evening. Children are welcome and will also find it interesting to dine in the restaurant.

Cruising through the city skirts at night via the Seine River is considered more romantically appealing than any other activity in Paris. The Seine Cruise brings you to different locations in Paris while enjoying a gourmet experience and vivid entertainment. The perfect Paris evening is capped with a dinner in the Champs Elysees.

For about 4 hours, the Seine Cruise navigates through the renowned passages and links. Don’t go overboard with the wine though, and make sure you can take a cab on your way back to the hotel. Also, the ambiance in Paris demands the strict prescribed attire as it is a formal affair.

Search for details on the Seine Cruise and find out more about the ultimate dining experience in Paris. Check out the featured entertainment aboard the cruise and plan a romantic night out for two with a special trip on the Paris cruise.
