Why do so many people like Paris Hilton?

I have never understood this. I am from an upper class society, and chicks like Paris drive me nuts. No offense to her or anything, but she is not the cute at all, but yet so many flock to her. What is it about her that is so special. I don’t know she irks me so much. Now her sister on the other hand, is a whole different story. Still, I cannot understand the whole Paris thing. I love and enjoy the finer things in life, but I would never go for a female like Paris. Can anyone explain this phenomenon? Why Paris and Britney. In my opinion they are the sorriest females ever. I love women, just not these classless women. Whatever happened to the classy women like Catherin Zeta-Zones, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, or Hilary Swank. All these women are beautiful, successful and classy.
