What do you think about leaving five children at home in the States while vacationing in Paris?

The children are 1 girl, 17.5 years old, and 4 boys, ages 14.5, 12.5, 9.5, & 5.5 years. It will be the summer before the seventeen year old’s senior year. As of now, she does not have a driver’s license.
You aren’t thinking of leaving them home ALONE are you? Because that would be insane. Surely you have an adult who is willing to stay with them. What you are asking is much too much responsibility for a 17 year old. If you can afford Paris, you can afford a sitter.
